Cookies policy

In technical terms, a cookie is just a tiny text file a site places in your browser. Some are required just to make the page work, and the rest, being optional, only appear if you consent.
What we use
| Type | Purpose | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Remember your cookie choice, keep the page secure and correctly laid out. | No |
| Analytics | Count visits and see which sections are read, in aggregate form. | Yes |
| Attribution | Record that a visit to the platform came from this page. | Yes |
No advertising profiling happens through cookies here, and any data they create is kept off the market.
Storage in your browser
Small values, such as a remembered language preference, may also be stored by the page in local storage. Kept solely within your browser, these are wiped out as soon as you clear your site data, and we never see them.
How to switch them off
Every modern browser offers a way to block or remove cookies for a given site, found under privacy settings in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and website preferences in Safari. Blocking optional cookies changes nothing you would notice, but blocking essential ones may break the page in places.
We continue to count visits, anonymously and in aggregate form, even when optional cookies are turned down, without identifying you.
Third parties
The platform's own cookie policy, not this notice, governs cookies it sets after you follow a link from here.
